The National Multicultural Greek Council (NMGC) is an umbrella council for twelve multicultural fraternities and sororities (Greek Letter Organizations (GLOs)) in the United States. It was established in 1998.

  1. ^ Non-Greek Fraternity, formerly known as MΣΨ
  2. ^ Organizes Kingdoms (Chapters) using the Arabic alphabet as opposed to the Greek letters
  3. ^ Not to be confused with the NIC general fraternity with a similar looking name, Phi Sigma Phi.
  4. ^ Not to be confused with the sophomore class society, now largely disbanded, with a similar looking name, Theta Nu Epsilon.

Chapter Advisor award

edit

The Council gives the Chapter Advisor of the Year award to a selected fraternity or sorority chapter advisor. The 2014 award went to Xong Lor of the University of Arkansas.
